Default Installing JDM H...

Do I have to take off my front bumper to get this thing on? I read you have to take off the bumper to get the grille off, but do I have to take off the grille to install the H? I searched some but didnt get any definate answers. How about anyone whos done it? Advice? DIY tips please?

you can do it without taking off the bumper but it actually might be easier to take the bumper off. there is somewhere around 8-10 phillip head screws you have to take out and if you dont take off the bumper, it gets pretty tight. i took a phillips head thats like a dill bit so its only like a half an inch long and found a ratcheting wrench that fit it so it worked for me

lol.. I think the fenders might be going a little too far. Anyway that sucks that the emblem is that hard to get to. On the other hand it will be a little harder for someone to steal it off your car so that's a plus.

follow this installation PDF
up to the part where you remove the bumper
The rest you can figure out once the bumper is off
there are 2 screws behind the H badge and voila done

to reinstall reverse the steps
