Default A/T to M/T Tranny Mount Problems

My friend has an auto 94 4door and has done a b18b swap with a gsr tranny.

The first thing he tried although we didnt think would work was trying to use the passenger side tranny mount off of the integra. The motor sat too high on the tranny side and too close to the firewall.

So we searched a little and found the innovate eg auto to manual b series hydro tranny mount. He purchased that and just installed it, but this time it has the reverse problem. It sits too low on the passenger side and too close to the bumper.

So with that said, anything helpful is appreciated.

The plates that extend from the frame rail on the AT chassis are in a different location than they are on a MT chassis.

You have 3 options;
1. make a custom mount
2. hack the old plates off and weld new ones on in the correct location.
3. Buy an aftermarket mount that is made for this exact application.

actually that mount is to fit a manual B/D hydro tranny into a 92-95 civic manual chassis. nowhere does it say its to mount a manual hydro B/D into an auto 92-95 chassis.

edit: acutally the link to that page says it is but the product description page does not.

You obviously didn't read the posts above yours.

To OP, buy the Hasport mount for $175 from http://www.jhpusa.com

is that the same mount as the hasport auto to manual d series tranny mount? I got one of those. So if i decide to swap in a b series, i can keep the same mount?

Your retarded son. you don't refer to an automatic as "hydro."

Thanks. I don't usually mispell those words.

What if I were referring to his retarded son (not implied) while making an incomplete sentence, mmm.
