Default Halfshaft holder bolt shape?

Is the bolt that mates the halfshaft holder to the block have a constant width or is it larger where is goes through the halfshaft holder and then reduces to 10mm? I am trying to figure out if I have to pay $4.50/bolt at the dealership or if I can use some spares that I have.

Thanks
Ben

um, i *think* it is a 'machine stud' - not a 'bolt' , which is a bolt with a bit left over that has no thread near the head which, in this case, IS wider than the thread...

why not goto a junk yard and ask there? im sure that this area is not to be skimped on though...

use ONLY the right parts and tools for the job!!!

None of the yards in the area has one on the car, which makes it difficult. Thanks though, I'll just suck it up and go to the dealer.

Thanks
Ben
