which direction does the drive shaft hub nut turn to loosen? is it right hand threads, or is it the old righty tighty left loosey

what car? drive shaft hub nut? is it a drive shaft or a axle?

a shaft that drives a wheel is a drive shaft. (lingo that is left over form my muscle car days). Haha, any way i just can't seem to get it off. its a 91 civic std.
