Default Head problems

My buddy has an EF , and his head is bad. Can I use the head off my car? He has a d15b8 block, I have the d15b2... I'm thinking of buying this car using my car as parts to fix this one. Reasoning is his is 5spd mine is auto so I'm just wondering if it would work because I'll do it if it does!

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Mr.speaker &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">it depends...the d15b8 is 8 valve and some of them have pistons with only 2 valve reliefs,,but others have pistons with 4 valve reliefs...so you may need some pistons to do this swap if the engine has the 2 valve pistons.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Why not just swap the d15b2 into it if you buy it?
