Default Civic dispute...

Hello everyone, I have a 97 civic dx with about 160K miles .... with salvage title... car is in DECENT shape motor/trans. good all stock, but it seems there is bondo work on each side that looks like the panels are out of alignment somewhat...anyways I have a pretty small budget and I just cant figure out if I want to put money into the civic or save up for a gs-r or something. However I only paid $1200 for the car.. Any suggestions??

I'm going to have to get a digital camera and show you my car, I really think it could have some potential its just going to be a decent amount of work.. and time that I just don't have but I gotta figure out a way to get this bitch slammin with a ****** b16 1.7 liter with piston n rods , hondata s300, si transmission w lsd, SC-61 Precision turbo!! lol thats a dream right? Sheesh if i could just get a ******* gs-r set up in this bitch rims, tires, paint, maybe a few body panels, power doors / windows ... it would be pretty sick. just dont have the money yet

Save up for an LS swap. Later you can go ls/vtec and/or turbo and be happy. Just don't go cheap with either, thats the easiest way to expletive your motor up.

how bad is the bondo?
seeing you can get another hatch for less then 2 grand, just consider if its worth it.

Well both rear body panels ( along sides of the trunk lid ) are fairly smooth but there are two spots where the panels are a little out of alignment or not very smooth, interior squeaks mildly as does every car with 160,000k but other then that its good, just going to take a while to fix the bondo and dents ect.
