d15b unique or myth?
i have a 91 honda crx dx with a d16z6 motor swap and i also have slapped a mini turbo onto it. I moved to idaho and while in idaho was having the motor rebuilt i finally got the car back about 4 months ago and was driving it with the turbo set very low considering the fresh rebuild and the engine not made for turbo in the first place. I had a guy "dumb ***" excuse me workin on my car in idaho just adding more boost but not adding fuel idiot i know. Anyways i ended up spinning a rod bearing which is not too big of a deal and i had another "dumb ***" fix that but installed only one rod bearing and installed one from another block that was pre worn so yea nothing went right for me the last couple months with the car. Now i have the cash to finally buy another motor and im considering a d15b because its unique with a whoppin 5 more horse than the d16z6. I want some comments interests etc? I plan to do the swap myself any concerns? going from z6 to d15b with all the same stuff? anything i should be concerned be with? with the swap using same ecu same wiring harness its converted to obd1 and using a p28 help????
