Default Replacing an 06 SI trunk question !

Ive had my Si for about a month now but somehow i have a decent size scratch under my wing i have nhbp and any scratch looks bad plus i just recently debaged the civic emblem. I used dental floos but i guess i was going up and down to fast because there are several scratches where it was removed i am **** about stuff like this and i refuse to have scratches like this on my car that dont need to be there. I used Meguiars gold class liquid wax on the whole car last week hoping it would remove the scratches but it didnt work. I found a new trunk on https://www.hondapartsdeals.com/ for like $275 should i just go with this or some how get the trunk repainted or just those spots repainted if its cheaper to get it done at a shop i will has anyone done this type of thing before.

How deep is your scratch? Had a small scratch where I removed civic badge but Klasse twins made it disappear (also nbp). You might check out the detailing info on 8thcivic.com or tov.net or take it to a local detailer. Hope it be made perfect for only small cost to you. Good luck.

If you're really **** about it, get it repainted, don't buy a new trunk. The new trunk will have to be painted anyways.

If the scratch is down to metal then yes it will have to be painted, touching up scratches that deep just looks like crap. If its just surface scuffs the a power polish and wet sand will do the trick
