Default HELP here on accord probs~!!!

Hey guys,
i seem to have problems with my car, its a Honda Accord Ex 2.2 1995 model (

1) The car seems to consume alot of engine oil, and i need to fill it up within every 3weeks as it empties very fast. i was thinking that proly there would be a leakage somewhere but i couldnt find any. I've change the head gasket and the piston rings already and also the timer kit which was having some problems.
Any ideas???

2) The car seems to consume more than usual on FUEL which i was thinking what could be the problem of this? Someone recommended me on buying those "fuel saver injectors" which i am still a bit not sure should i buy it or not.

3) My 10 disc CD changer doesnt seem to read any of the cds that are put inside. it keeps on having error -3 and error -4 on it. After the errors it'll auto jump to radio instead. I've check on the manual and i've cleaned the cleaner, placed brand new cds, etc, but it can NEVER work. i was wondering why is this?? The radio and tape player works fine tho~

any help is much appreciated!

1. HAVE YOU TRIED LOOKING AROUND THE OIL PAN FOR LEAKS ??? SOMETIMES THE OIL PAN GASKET NEEDS REPLACMENT.

2. NOW FOR THE FUEL PROBLEM, YOU MIGHT NEED TO CHANGE THE AIR FILTER. IF IT ISN'T THE AIR FILTER SOMETIMES IT COULD BE THAT YOUR IDLE SPEED NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED, ITS VERY SIMPLE TO ADJUST. ON YOUR THROTTLE BODY THERE'S AN ADJUSTING SCREW IN BETWEEN THE INTAKE HOSE AND THE WIRES. JUST TURN IT TO THE LEFT TO ADVANCE IT, OR TO THE RIGHT TO MAKE IT RETARDED. YOUR IDLING SPEED SHOULD BE JUST UNDER 1000 rpms

Is the oil, that leaks out , in the drain pan? If yes, then the drain plug might have been damaged.
If it is not in the pan, then the leakage is from some where else

with the CD changer, are you using burned cds that have worked in the past and suddenly are not, or retail cd's or what? Sometimes factory car audio stuff can be very picky with the media it reads. If it has been working and suddenly stopped - You might be able to do a POT tweak, don't know if that's even possible to do on a honda cd changer, but for ps2's and xbox's at least that get the disc read error you can tweak the laser a bit (very delicate and difficult procedure) to get it to read more material. The cd cleaner crap just doesn't cut it sometimes, take the entire thing apart, use a Qtip and like 91% isopropanyol alcohol and just dab the laser to clean it up and use an air blaster to clean up any crud in the thing

I've checked on the oil pans... no leakage anywhere.. and the gasket has been changed already.

BTW, my car runs on standard carburetor not fuel injector ..

Well since your car seems to be relatively old I'm gonna guess that it has a few miles on it. For the oil consumption with a high mileage vehicle I'd be looking at the valve seals. Oil will leak past those and it is unseen. You'll know if you have blue smoke coming out your exhaust. As for the fuel issue, seeing that it is carbed, maybe it's time for a rebuild?

Did you say you had a 2.2 1995 Accord? Where are you from and please give us the engine code because I have NEVER heard of such a thing.

I detect some sarcasm.

Are you burning any oil? Under heavy acceleration do you get any smoke? After you let off from accelerating do you see any smoke? (might have to have someone follow behind you) Anything at idle? As for leaks... I'm assuming you checked the pan gasket, drain plug gasket, and the front and rear main seals?

You'll know if its leaking anywhere out of your pan, drain plug seals, ect. cause you'll have oil under your car after its been sitting for a few hours. Not hard to figure that out. If no oil is present on the ground then you don't have external leak and that means you have an internal leak where your burning oil. Now, there are only 3 ways to burn oil. 1:your piston rings are worn out and its passing through your oil ring (oil scraper) and burning in the combustion chamber. Which would cause smoke to come out your exhaust. 2: Like I stated previously, your valve seals are going away in your head. The seals are located at the bottom of the valve assembly under the springs. If the seals go away it will allow oil to pass down the valve guides into your combustion chamber, again causing the smoke to come out your exhaust. And 3: Not likely, but who knows, your head gasket might be tanked, but you said you replaced already right?
