Turbo> Jackson or Vortec.... hehe to be honest I have seen some monsterous ITRs with both. Both are really good... really comes down to price difference to be honest.

If money isn't an issue, take your car to the track and have some fun with it the way it is. Then if the you aren't satisfied look into an alternate method of additional horsepower

The Jackson Kit with the LHT modified manifold is really good...making 265hp 185tq at about 8 pisi with a Comptech race header and full exhaust. Completely stock motor.

i have seen a lot of JRSC cars have VTEC set at 3000rpm. Reason being, most JRSC make full boost at 3k...so vtec and full boost......MAJOR torque numbers!

Jackson Racing is a very fun setup. It has some space to play around with on the stock motor, but still puts your butt back in the seat. My vtec is also set at 3000. Its weird because most of the time I dont even hear it kick in.

I had the LHT JRSC on my old gsr and had vtec at 3000 as well. Mine only made 245hp 178tq. w/ a beat up dc header.

JRSC... good stuff.

My vtec = 3k-ish and is also tough to notice. Maybe the charger masks the vtec engagement a bit?

It's even better with the Hondata s300 since you can set a vtec window instead of just a single vtec point at a certain map pressure.
