Default When loaded, the 06 Type S is a better value than the Si Coupe

Si Coupe $25,500 with navi, $23,500 without navi
RSX Type $24,?00

Why is that?

Only true benefit from this list is the LSD.

The RSX-S has its benefits as well, just depends what you are looking for.

To the OP...there is no 07 RSX.

The Si is coo, but the RSX-S still reigns. Only difference is we don't have LSD. MAn if we had that in our car oh man that's it.

with or without LSD, it's still a driver's race.

i find it funny how everyone swings off the electric power steering's nuts. i must admit i too did at one time, but then i made my way over to ep hatch when i was actually considering doing the swap, and alof of those guys are having steering rack problems, PRESUMABLY due to the non fluid system.

I HATED the electronic PS in the EP3. I autox'ed it a few times and I could get ahead of the system.

One of the many reasons I got rid of the EP3 for an RSX-S. The traditional PS system may rob a couple of HP, but it gives fantastic feedback and control.

the steering rack problem only happened to the earlier models of the Ep3 and have not been isolated to the EPS. EPS has it pros and cons just like everything else.

not if you have nextel... it sucks...

anyways

I drove both the RSX-S and FG, I like the way type S drives better than the FG.. sitting in the Type-S feels more sporty if you know what I mean... I just dont like the way FG has it's shifter...

Those of you who want a Honda OEM Torsen axle in your DC5 can probably find one for just a few hundred dollars if you keep your eyes open.

I think the discussions you guys are having about the DC5 vs FG2 are indicative of why the Civic-based Acura has been discontinued for the time being.

My biggest complaint with the FG Si is the drivers sitting and viewing position. Feels like you're driving a minivan. The RSX does not have this problem nearly as bad.

However, both suck when you compare them to a DC2 or EM1. When you drive an FG you are basically guessing at where the front end is. With the DC2 you *know* where the front of the car is.
