Do you rather a 2007 Si coupe for $25,500 or 2006 RSX Type S for $24,500 both fully loaded?

I was just checking out the prices on the '07 Si coupe and the '06 rsx type s. When both fully loaded with interior an exterior accessories, the Si costed about 1,000-1,500 more than the RSX Type S. The Type S has some things that are better than the Si, such as the Leather seats, the suspension, and the engine.
But then the Si has a navi. Without the navi they come out to about the same price.

Which one would you choose?

Uh thats a hard 1 because the RSX is full jdm the SI is not its 70% us sourced/15% japan sourced. I think the Si motor is a bit faster stock due to the block and head thats what i was told dont hold me too that. I also think the leather seats arent a big deal you will just slide in hard turns a bit with the suede sport cloth SI seats you wouldnt as much. I would like to know how the rsx suspension is better the new SI is on rails stock i know i own 1 if anything there very similar. I would rec the navi i have it in my si and it owns you will never get lost plus i think the SI's dashboard is layed out a little better but thats just my opinion. I love the rsx because its full jdm but i love the si even better it just offers so much more plus it so much fun to drive people fein over this car to own 1 makes you feel great i know i do Good Luck with your purchase.

i would choose to look at the 100 other threads like this. haha

"Its all about personal preference" Go test drive them both and see which one fits u better. I would personally get the Si because it has a factory lsd, but you could also buy a nice aftermarket lsd for the RSX-s. good luck

Si is not slower then the Rsx nor faster. It's all a driver's race. It's pretty vague also. Faster in what? Quarter Mile, Top speed, circuit?

So we only get 85% of a car? Go with the Si. Overall, a better package.

How do you figure the suspension and engine of the Type S are better than the Si ?

With the suspension of the 2007 Civic, Honda addressed everything about the McPherson suspension that we were complaining about. They gave us more caster, they lowered the steering box, and they took the tie rod end off of the strut and put it on the hub.

Si or RSX : https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1714556
" " " : https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1702270

Used RSX or 06 Si: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1725207

To the OP: youre probably going to get a biased opinion from us civic owners, so maybe try asking both forums? Both cars have their pro's and con's but personally I opted for the Civic... More appealing interior, exterior, LSD(navi is a plus!), and I got a damn good deal on the Civic. In the end its going to come down to personal preference, and not which one is a better car than the other since both are great, IMO.

the 06 rsx-s has 210 hp whereas the si has 197. with the lsd, the si will take an rsx off the line, but once 3rd gear comes around the rsx will pwn u. sorry, it just happens. as for everything else, i like the si. i test drove both, and suspension and the majority of the interior is better on the si IMO. the olde models of the rsx will be cheaper to mod though in comparison to a brand new car. plus there is more out there available for a type s. it all depends on what u wanna do with it. the si is also pretty uncommon to see one on the road. i see a type s all the time... being driven by an old woman/man. how often do u see an old person in an si? and if they are, its because their 17yo kid is teling em how safe it is for them to get it for em. the tsx is just pimp. everything about em seems to be flickin. so yea, corners and off the line... si FTW. after 3rd gear... rsx. and to pick up some h03s, the tsx. **** just wait for the new acura turbocharged suv. get balla status with the quickness!
