Which 28" slicks are you guys using?

Default Which 28" slicks are you guys using?

Been out the loop for a while.

Are the Goodyears 28x10 still rockin or something else and if so is it the d6.
What about the M&H 28x9 and others?

which MT would that be size/compound and do you find you got better results over the Goodyears?

we just call jegs and order them. 28/10.5 ..... we havent tried any other brand yet.

Yeah but there is a fwd compound. Sometimes you have to ask for it cause the part # not listed.

There also is a compound for manual trans and a softer compound for automatics. Shawn Sparks of MT was very insistent in talking me out of the asofter ones for my manual trans fwd car. Probably afraid of no slippage leading to tire shake and breakage, but thats my decision lol.

The normal MT 3055 tire seems to be what all the cool kids are running. I've got a couple of 1.341 60' times and I still don't have a handle on them yet.

I also had a set of 3055CL tires, which were the soft compound, light sidewall tire they stopped making. Either tire will shake if you hit it too hard, but those definitely shook much easier than the regular 3055's did. They also didn't seem to hook anywhere near as well.
