Its finally come time for me to change my clutch. I was looking on Honda clutch on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. I am trying to decide between buying the stuff at Honda or just buy a clutch kit. Here is the comparison between the two.
So, a Summary of my list so far:
1) Clutch Disk $66.66
2) Pressure Plate $81.81
3) Release Bearing - Throwout bearing $39.18
4) Left output shaft seal (axle seal) $ 6.05
5) Right output shaft seal (axle seal) $ 5.25

My mechanic (friend) told me to just buy a clutch kit from my local import parts store for $150.

In which case, I would still need:
4) Left output shaft seal (axle seal) $ 6.05
5) Right output shaft seal (axle seal) $ 5.25
6)Rear main seal $10.73
7) pivot ball that the release fork pivots on $ 6.49

Subtotal $28.52

Which one would you guys suggest? and also, which did you go with when you were replacing your own clutch? any comments on aftermarket OEM clutch versus Honda clutch?
