Hey i also have two plugs i'm not sure about on the z6:

I have two wires running to a rubber boot thingy by the back of the block, the wires are yellow/green and black.

I also have two wires going to a two prong connector, the wires are black/yellow and orange.

These connectors were on a dohc zc and i'm going to a d16z6, i need to know where they both go on the z6. thank you and someone please help!!!

 

the rubber boot thing with the yellow/green and black wires is for the cooling fan switch which is on the back of the block on the OBD0 engines - on the Z6, the cooling fan switch is on the thermostat housing - you need to extend the wires and use a different connector - the connector with the black/yellow and orange wires was for the Tandem Control Valve on the DPFI DX/STD - it shouldn't have gone to anything on the ZC and doesn't go to anything on the Z6 - it isn't used on the MPFI engines
