You need $6000-$8000 depending on your proficiency with the task at hand (which I assume is zero) and the hookups you get on the parts. You also need exhaust work and a Hondata Kpro ECU.

you don't have to have the hondata K-pro right off the bat, but it sure helps it run and helps your confidence.
I'm k'ed up and its great. My exhaust is still shatty. Just get a K-teller weld in kit and take it to the nearest Exhaust shop WITH a flange to bolt to your header. I've heard many people INCLUDING myself that run into exhaust shops welding pipe straight to the actual header flange.

I would never do this swap without a Kpro ECU, personally. I've done it before and the issues you run into without the flexibility of standalone aren't worth the hassle. If the engine's not going to run correctly without Kpro, then it's not going to leave my garage without Kpro.

car will run like **** without using kpro... since you already wasted about 4-5 on the motor, why not spend the 1k on the ecu and make the car run correct...
same with tunning, spending so much on motor work, without tunning it, it run like ****.
