I Like It ... What I wanted to Do was Run a Hood like this w/ a ARC Magic Box Intake System. Im stilling trying to Find out if there a Pipe or Hole on the Bottom of these ARC Boxes, If so i was going to run a Velocity Stock in my PassagerSide Fog Light Area w/ a Tube running up to the Box

Seems pretty functional tho, if you have a SRI that is.

Yup, C-West aero parts are functional. Knock offs probably function as well, but they are usually made for looks, not so much for breathing or venting purposes...

I like that hood, I could possibly go without the vent in the middle but it could help flow hot air out of the car. That side scoop would work perfect with an ARC, SRI, or even a homemade intake box with a filter on top. If you could fab the box to work in conjunction with a EG air duct and some heater hose that would be awesome. Even though I hate CF I wouldnt mind one of those.

Bringing this back from the Dead. I think these are discounted. If there not does anyone know where I would be able to purchase one?

Yes. His name on here is CarbonEGG. Not sure why it would be Rice but Okay. Left side scoop looks to be Functional and the Center Vent releases Hot Air from the Engine Bay.

Thank you for that important input. Make sure to breath in real deep when you put your head in the oven later.

It looks good and seems like it could be a functional piece, I just live where it rains and wouldn't like the idea of my element being bombarded with water everytime its damp out.

thats way i sayd IMO..
i dont like hoods with holes on it, unless you have a upper intercooler kit, somethink like a STi or an EVO...

think, honda engines dont make that heat level.. the left side scoop can help to get more fresh air to the intake but why just dont use a CAI?

EVO or not. That Vent still helps. Would be even more Functional if the Vent was placed lower on the Hood tho. Just my opinion. Im already running a AEM 3" CAI. Want to change it up abit w/ the Js Racing I have sitting in the Garage. Also dont really want to drill another hole on my Frame rail for the Mounting of the AEM (Just completely Shaved Painted and Wire Tucked my Engine Bay).

i have an original of this hood with out the intake scoop(which i hate), just the center scoop made by ARN or "Sittin on gold" i believe that import fan is the only place you can get these hoods. i know the 5zigen WCCH EG had that hood for the longest time as well

The center vent would be great for dumping rainwater into the engine compartment.

Other than that the intake scoop looks functional.
