There is no Stage 1/2 exhausts. I think you're thinking of the Buddy Club Spec 2 and **** like that which is just a name. They may have just revised it from their previous model.

each one is different. Each brand is different. Stage one clutches are weaker than stage two and three. Stage one turbo kits are less agressive than stage two or three. I dont ever remember different stages of exhausts, but I imagine stage one exhaust would be more streetable than stage two and three. The higher stages are usually geared more towards racing.

a stage one clutch isn't "weaker" than a Stage 2/3. It will hold more torque than an OEM clutch. Hence, stage 1. Stage 2 would hold even more than a 1 and most likely has a heavier duty pressure plate. etc.etc.
a stage 1 turbo kit would most likely have a normal sized or small intercooler, lower boost level on the wastegate, and what not. Stage 2 would just be bigger and higher. I am probably missing other stuff. I'm an N/A guy so I don't know much about FI
How would one exhaust be more "streetable" than another? Not like a 2.25" piping is "more streetable" than a 3" lol. There are no traditional "stages" in exhaust. Basically if you got a 1.8 N/A get a 2.5" piping. FI, 3"+ depending on setups of course.

LoL...
To the OP, give us a specific example. The word "stage," in of itself, has no real meaning other than what you already know...

Ya, I was gonna say the same thing
Stage 1, 2, and 3 means stop playing need for speed underground and trying to upgrade your car that way as it doesn't depict actual upgrading worth of ****
.
There's lots of stages though, usually has to do with what's faster/stronger
Clutches, stage 1, 2,3 3 bieng strongest, 1 being weakest, 1's still hell'eve a lot stronger than stock.
Exhausts....stages....?????
nitrous - if it's computer controlled it can be set to spray twice at two different points, depending on how much you're sprayin, what kind of motor you have, how the interals are reinforced, so on and so forth
turbos - larger "stage" measn more aggressive, they usually just refer to turbos by the diamter wheel, larger wheel takes longer to spool up but can boost more....
Same with just about everythign else that you can put a stage to.
But the vid games.....plz....they don't depict actual upgrading scenarios....

How is that any different than what I said? A stage 1 clutch is weaker than a stage 2, as a stage 1 cannot hold as much torque. Idiot.

I was talking about how loud it is, and if it is legal or not. Not the usual terms you think of when you say streetable, but I would say a cat and a muffler would be more "streetable" than open header. Anyways, there are not really any stages of exhaust anyway. But I would say that some exhaust are more "streetable" than others.

Well the way you said its weaker, made it sound like you're saying " 0h y0! stage w0n? y0 dat ***** wack s0n! gotz to get da stage 6 B" You should've been more specific.

Stages are bullshit, just talk to someone about what your goals are, and they can steer you in the right direction. Just talk to the subaru/evo guys, one companies stage 2 is another companies stage one, and I think one company has a stage zero.
