2 Cylinders misfire after jump starting another battery
I have a co-worker how has a 99 Accord (F23a1) with 150k miles. He just purchased the car and the car ran perfectly until the other night.
He had to jump start a truck, and after doing so, the engine was not running the same, and it was throwing a CEL. He had the code checked, and it was 2 cylinders misfiring.
He replaced the plugs, and it's still the same. I told him to go ahead and replace the dist cap and rotor.
Does anyone know what could have caused this? Could it have just been coincidence that it started after jumping another car?
Any suggestions and input would be greatly appreciated.
