Yes it is possible. Many people have done it (this is a clue to search). However, it is not something you should try and do if you have never done a swap by yourself or if you don't know how to weld. It's not the easiest swap available.

I'm sure it'll be very hard, but I'll bet it would motivate a Civic to go like stink.

x2, i think there is some confusion about this, maybe getting it confused with k20s/k24s. a few months ago, a guy actually bought a k23 block from acura to test fit and make his own mounts in his hatch, but it was nearly impossible. last i heard i believe he was gonna return it to the dealership.

Yea, K20 swaps are pretty common almost now, but a K23? never seen it...

I think people get so used to people asking the same friggin questions over and over, they don't take the time to realize it COULD be a new question. lol

Naw, k23's are around...

Probably about half to 2/3 as common as K20 swaps....

The New Acura RDX came with a 2.3L K-Series Factory turbo-charged. They are only available in automatic, and normal K-series transmissions don't bolt up to them.

So have fun with the automatic AWD transmission.

You have GOT to be thinking of K24

K23s are still very new. I haven't even seen pictures of a K23 swapped into anything.

Someone prove me wrong

Notice I wasn't quoting your comment.

I have no doubt that SOMEBODY has done it, I just haven't seen proof.

A year or two ago Jeff from Importbuilders was working on putting an S2000 crank into a K24 block, basically destroking it down to 2.3L
