Default Distributor problems

I just did a b16 swap into a 95 civic. didnt start the first time. we forgot to tighten one ground on top of the thermostat, which happens to be the ground for the main relay which meant the fuel pump wasnt giving out any fuel. fixed that then we werent getting any spark same problem i have been seeing on here. we took out the ignitor in the distributor and replaced it with the one from the d15 because they are both obd1. that worked for about a day. today i tried to start it and i have the same damn problem. how does the same thing go out like that? is it a bad distributor? is it bad wiring? I have no clue. Im going to replace the distributor and see if that fixes the problem hopefully it doesnt go out the next day. If you have the same problems please reply or if you have the answers to my questions please reply....

ive got a b16 hydraulic clutch skunk2 stage 1 cams unorthodox cam gears. i know you import guys are going to hate this one jg edlebrock headers and a j-spec carbon fiber short ram intake. when it runs it **** and gets.

i did a b16 swap into a 95 civic coupe. I am having issues with spark. the first time it was the ignitor i replaced that with one that came with the stock engine (d15)(obd1). It ran for about a day. Now i am stuck i dont have any spark once again. I am thinking my distributor is bad. I got the motor from osakajdmmotors.com ; it is the b16a2 with lsd tranny i also have skunk2 stage 1 cams, unorthodox cam gears, and jg edlebrock headers. when it was running i had it timed and checked to see if i was throwing any codes. the only code i throw was code15 which was something from unplugging the 2 wire clip for the distributor. I did that and cranked it over just to get the oil pressure in the engine up.

i dont have any spark from the distributor. my buddy ran a volt meter test on the wires for the distributor and sometimes it would have like really high and then none. that is what he said i wasnt there helping so i am not to sure on that one.

the first time i had no spark we replaced the ignitor with one from a d15 obd1. it started and ran like **** until i had it timed and put 92 octane fuel in it. after that it ran fine for the next day. then i was at a hardware store. and started it to get under some light to check out a leak i had from a breather in the tranny. i shut the car off and checked it hopped back in and tried to start it. the first time it tried to fire. the second time there was no spark. i took off a plug wire and put a screw driver in it and put it next to a bolt to see if there was any spark. but there wasnt any spark. i once again tried a new ignitor but it didnt work. I am thinking about replacing the distributor because who knows how long the engine sat or what conditions the engine importer had this engine in.
