if you have stock exhaust, you will need more than a fancy muffler to get much performance. I would start with a header because the stock b20b exhaust manifolds are the worst. next, do a hi-flow cat and cat-back exhaust and you'll be golden... 2.25 or 2.5 diameter pipe is all you will need unless you plan to go turbo...
i kno im not saying i want to go all out if i do im going spoon N1 exhaust and high flow cat and 4-2-1 jdm headers but since right now im working to get all of that i have 100 bucks and this back pressure is getting worse so i was wondering if this muffler would stop the backpressure until i get a full exhaust

how is your backpressure getting worse? youre running a stock b20 engine in an ek....whats the problem? obviously the engine was made to run with the components you have on it without problems.....i dont see how you can feel it getting worse when it shouldnt have been there in the first place
Ok calm down dont get ur panties in a bUNCH like in worse the back pressure popped a whole in the rear cat and the pressure between the cat and the rest of the pipes is getting more stress at the end its juss gonna pop off so yea that what i mean in worse mad back pressure more holes blah blah blah damn sry if u get all mad on a QUESTION if not then sry dont answer it
sounds like you are ready for a whole exhaust system. My suggestion is to spend as little as possible for now (cheap turbo style muffler) and save up to get the nice setup that you really want.
i would go all out like u say but in december im getting a job that im getting 1500 with that money and right now im basically using my money for building the block the head and getting the turbo suspension upgrade mounts interior (cage 3 point strut floor bar etc) right now the Exhaust is gonan get bought when the turbo is bought but for now i juss want a regular exhaust somethign not to rice not to loud for cheap juss for now
yea they are only like 60 bucks and i already have a header and 2.25'' pipes so i might just do an experiment, if i dont like it i can always sell it to soemone with a v8 lol.
