Ok everyone, this is my first swap and im wondering if anyone can help me out and tell me what all I'm going to need to do this...First of all, im putting a b16a ported head on my b18b LS motor...what all do i need to complete the vtec switchover??
I already have the distributor for a b16 but what else is there....do i need a wire harness or a new ecu...and what else do i need to do...any help will be greatly appreciated

Need a new ECU and run wires for VTEC and knock sensor. Check hasport.com or hybrid sites for exact info. I'm doing the same thing but bought a complete wire harness from hasport for $240. Depending on your car, I have an 88 DX hatchback and there's more work converting a dual pt injection to a four pt one. You can keep your LS ecu but may need a vtec controller to get it to activate and it gets a little complicated too if not properly tuned. I suggest get all plug n play stuff like the right harness, ecu etc. Good luck!
