Default Header ground clearances and decisions

I dropped by my engine builders shop today to discuss header options, luckily for me he had quite a few headers in his shop on hand. We are going to dyno test them once my b2.2 stroker motor is together. I was also concerned with ground clearance so he told me to bolt them on a motor and I could see for my self.
I looked at a few SMSP headers also a JG Edelbrock, Rage, DC Sports, HP, and an AN-R. I had my camera so I snapped some pictures. I thought some of you guys would like to see the results

This is an overview picture of all the headers

This is an AN-R header...Ground clearance is pretty good

Edelbrock....Not a bad piece and decent clearance

SMSP.....The best out of them all for clearance

RAGE......Bad I would end up ripping them off in a week

Another picture so you can see how low the RAGE header hangs

SMSP.....pretty good clearance as well

DC......very bad I don’t see them lasting a week before they are destroyed

SMSP...Big Tubes
