Default Dyno Tuning VAFC Questions

I'm going to a shop to have my ITR dynoed. They don't really specialize on imports and basically implied I'd be free to adjust it as I feel, so I'd like to have a general idea of what should be done.
What is the best Air/Fuel Ratio to should be shooting for?
Also, what should these be set at?
lo throttle?
hi throttle?
v/t unmt hi<<l
v/t unmt lo<<hi
nep hvt
nep lvt

Thanks!

just take a baseline run and see where you need or have to much fuel. then just smooth out the line. When I had mine done the guy was trying for around 13.1 and that is what i have heard from other people.

There really isn't an ideal a/f ratio but try for 13.1 across the board as Gravity stated

Dyno graphs
Spikes up = lean
Spikes down = rich

Hope that helped

So, I want to aim for 13.1.
What about the other settings, rpm, etc.?

What is the best Air/Fuel Ratio to should be shooting for? around 13-13.2:1 should be good
Also, what should these be set at?
lo throttle? mine is at 20
hi throttle? mine is at 50
v/t unmt hi<<l try around 5
v/t unmt lo<<hi 4900
nep hvt well you have 8 points to pick. go 5, 5.5,6,6.5,7,7.5,8 k
nep lvt go 1,2,3 3.5,4,4.5,5k

Try that.

They told me to be around 12:1 to be on "the safe side." But like I said they're really not an import shop.
I'll aim for 13:1.
Can someone explain what lo throttle and hi throttle figures are?
Also, if I setting I have;
nep hvt 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5
nep lvt 1, 2, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5
Do I adjust the 5k at the lvt or hvt?
Thanks for helping me out. I have a feeling I'll be doing all the adjustments myself as they looked like they didn't even want to the the VAFC when I showed it to them...

change the last ne lvt to 4800
change the first ne hvt to 5000.

low throttle an hi throttle pos means how much you press down on the accelerator. the vafc can see and display how much in percentage the accelerator is held down.

12:! is way too rich, that would be for a turbo application.

Hey quick response!
So, what does the number mean after the low and hi throttle mean?
12:1 is too rich. I thought so, that's what I origianlly told him.
Even got in an argument about it. I hate guys who think they know better than girls!
Thanks again Fast94!

Didn't know you were a girl, not that matters .

The throttle position determines which fuel map to use, lvt is usually for part throttle response or full throttle below the vtec crossover. hvt is after vtec..

Remember you have two different modes for lvt and hvt. you have part throttle and wide open throttle. part throttle is ya know for driving around, wide open is what you are gonna use to tune. You can basically keep both the same.
