Default MUGEN CAI ITR JDM AIR system

guys,

My ITR 99 came with a Mugen CAI and Mugen Twinloop.

I am considering swap the CAI MUGEN with my new AEM CAI which i ordered.

I am kinda used with the AEM, but I read and so much info about the Mugen.

Is it really worth it to remove the Mugen and use AEM?

does anyone has dyno results, test results, info, experience etc

DO NOT replace the Mugen with the AEM.

Dude... Leave the Mugen in for God's sake, I wish I had a Mugen intake, it's 10 times better than the AEM CAI.

I'll trade you though, haha.

that it's obviously a big useless overpriced intake.

I will make it fair and send you two of my AEMs for your Mugen.

You'd rather have a bit of bendy pipe and a filter than a mugen intake!!!!!!. Sell the AEM and leave the mugen intake, you'll be instantly banned from this forum if you do swap them

i'm quite sure if you replaced the Mugen with the AEM, that small pixies during the night would tie you to your bed with lots of small ropes and push you off a cliff

I say time some actual runs with both intakes and get back to us. Dyno tests don't always reveal the whole picture, so I say you try it!

I just switched from an AEM to the mugen last night and I will never go back. It is much better.

No matter what the bandwagon says; I promise you that the AEM ITR "3 CAI will make more power

My butt dyno maybe off, but I can promise you that the car pulls alot smoother and a lil bit harder than it did with the AEM. Also, is this peak HP that you are refering to as being more?

mugen is way better in performance. well, forget about the research on the performance for a second and do the price comparsion. Then ask yourself again.

Mugen FTW!!!

The craftsmanship alone is worth the price. AEM is good at sucking up water and giving u a hump at 3K....that and making an awful lot of noise

Forget about R&D and focus on price? I'm sorry to say but that's just ignorant.

Anyways, timed runs...doooo itt!

He already has the mugen intake (it was on his car when he bought it) so price isnt a factor in this!

its pretty much a proven fact that the 3" itr aem intake out performs every other intake on the market.. look at all the dyno's and you will see..

although the Mugen intake is very very pimp, id go with aem for all out power
