Default Mugen Thermostat and fan switch

anyone have any expierence with these, my car take FOREVER to warm up. Would this be a good upgrade, or is it for race application prettymuch?

stock is best
or do one or the other but not both

with both your car will never get to closed loop

your t-stat is probably bad (stuck open) if it takes forever to warm up. You'll know for sure if the the temp fluctuates depending on engine load. It will fluctuate from normal to cold.

Yeah, this is probably the problem. I had the same issue, so I went out and bought a thermostat replaced it. No longer have that issue.

yes, once it gets to normal temp., i goes down a little then up back to normal, then down a little, then back to normal!

anyone know the thermostat part #? i'm looking on Baranco Acura now but can't find a thermostat anywhere!!!
