2000 Si. Could a faulty ignition module (igniter) cause a misfire?
I dont have any misfire codes, but when the car is warming up, anything past half throttle causes the car to miss (it feels like a miss to me). When the car is warmed up (hot), the car more or less runs perfect with a hiccup every now and then.
I have been told oxygen sensors, and now I wonder about the igniter?
Thanks!

gapped to specs. running the OEM plugs (new ones), with new cap and rotor button, wires only have around 45k miles one them.
dude check your plug gaps with a gauge cuz they can get screwed up in shipping and change your wires that happened to me. new wires went bad
misfire can be caused by spark fuel or oil contamination in combustion chamber. check your valve guids to make sure no oil is getting to the back of the valves or it could even be that your rings are going and your rings arent sealing as they were before. if you wanna know if your wires are arcing wait till its dark or put a blanket around engine bay with a spray bottle mist the wires and you should see them arc. carbon build up will also make it misfire ...these are things ive seen out in the field hope it gives you and idea.
