Where's the rev limiter?
I bought my 95 civic 4 door with a sohc (d15b7) lx, and when i go on highways i usualyy go to 6000 something which is all the way till the rev limiter should kick in. but it doesnt wth could be wrong. i bought it bone stock so no chipped ecu was put in.

If i were you i wouldnt try and find the rev limiter its there to protect your engine meaning reving that high can be bad for your engine. Besides that your prolly not making power at the rev limit anyways. Just my .02

when you hit it you'll know. It's not terrible to hit the limiter on occasion (they put it there for a reason), just don't make a habit out of it. I've hit the rev limiter at the track a number of times because you just can't always concentrate on driving and your tach at the same time. Time for a shift light for me ....
