i have a ap1 s2k what brands seem to do the best
i have been looking at tanabe dual exhaust the new one with less than 93db and a cold air intake or mugen box (dont want to cut hood) but after all that even if i add a header is it really going to do much for the car..i plan on running a comptech charger but i still want the car to run good and not have a lot of problems.. from the days of my turbo civic i can remember how turbo cars were in cold winters and hot summers.. so post if u have tryed any thing pics or links would be great thanks
the question is in the post .... from what you have done is the exhaust and intake and other bolt on's really going to do much for the performance before u add boost the civic was sold a year ago.. all am asking has any prchased the tanabe exhaust if so how do they like it and what intake or header is a good one i dont want to get anything cheap or in the civic class.. maybe the wrong people read this post. this is a forum to post ? in right

I think its more that we'd like to believe that by the time you're old enough and make enough money to afford an S2000 (as well as mods), you've somehow learned how to construct a comprehendable sentence and can perform a simple search on your own.

no comment on the flaming but..
I am surprise you can't figure it out yourself(since you said you own a boosted civic before), N/A exhaust will do poorly on a boosted setup, needless to say the airbox/intake will be wasted if you going SC

If you are goinf with boost, just wait until you can do it. If you aren't going to be boosted anytime soon and want to do some mods while you wait, then those mods will do fine. As for increases in performance from those mods (or any really other than boost), there will be a little, but not much. Different intakes and exhaust will change the sound of the car and may pick up a few HP each, but major jumps come from major amounts of money.
thank you gomarlins3 for responding yes i have had boost and i did purchase my s2000. no my parents didnt buy it for me nor did i burn my civic to get it like some people i have more than a s2k to drive. yes my computer is messed up and half the time the screen makes it hard to see what you wrote.
But with most cars little bolt on's depending on what you go with will give you some horse power but really just more sound. i am playing to do a super charger but at the same time i'm sure a few people also plan to win the lotto too. So with out going cheap or buying a bunch of jdm crap that really dose nothing. I though i would ask and see what others did to get a good sound and a little extra hp.. i was not aware that posting a comment would bring out the childern on the site.. i have been a member of honda tech and scion life for a while. i though the whole purpose was to ask questions and people show and tell what they have done and what worked for them. Its not like any one owns race car or anything

IMO tanabe exhaust are junk for the s2000. Youd be better of with a Comptech or HKS.

see that all i needed to know my friend has a rsr cat back on a ap1. my other has a hi power hks on a ap2.. i dont want to copy and i still want to run duals. when i had my civic i had a tanabe g power and a tanabe super racing. i liked both of them but not everything works good for every car. the rsr screamed all the time were the hks was only loud in vtec.

be different and get dual amuse r1.
see here is what you have to remember. the s2000 is a more expensive car than civics and tegras. most part companies that make parts for civics and tegras didnt touch the s2000 platform until rescently. you need something good,
