Default CV joints

just replaced both my axles, and holy crap.... IT'S SO SMOOTH!

Took me wayyy too long to do the first one, but after I figured out all that I needed to do, it was too easy. Got BOTH axles, brand new, for $122.00 shipped. Summer and Co. Axles, pretty dang nice looking actually. Got 'em on Ebay.

No more clicking in turns, no more bumpy acceleration... just smooth performance.

yeah... Mine had, and still have, a small gap on the inner joint. Don't you remember using a prybar in the gap to pop it out of place?

Oh, and I have a 96 LX auto

I'm startin to think thats my problem to. I get the clicking when a take a relativly sharp left or right, and sometimes during accel the steering wheel gets a little shakey. Are there any other symptoms of a screwed up cv axle?
Also, I can't get a definative answer but is a transaxle rod on an automatic trans the same as a CV axle?

These are the exact symptoms I had. Change them out, you'll feel like you got a brand new car.

Yeah, got it diagnosed. That was it and since it was still on warranty I get it free and no charge on service! O **** yo! I mean, it sucks that it's dysfunctional and all but it's nice to know I don't have to pay a dime..
