I am going to buy a locals RSX seats that came out of his rsx, i was wondering if there was a way to make sure they are from HIS car. Is there a vin number anywhere i could match up to his vin number or have my friend who is a cop run the vin? I dont want stolen seats.

 

no way to know really ...could look at his RSX andj ust make sure they're the same color as his interrior

Well he just got some DC5R seats so hes selling these. If they are not legit and i get pulled over the cops will accuse me of having stolen property on my car, ect...Where as if they had a vin i could just say, go ahead and run the vin. Maybe i'll stamp my vin on them, lol.

 

From the info u provided i would be pretty certain they r not stolen. Local seats from a guy that owns and RSX and just bought some Recaros seems like a legit purchase. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

I highly doubt a cop would even know that the seats don't belong in your car

 

So, I bought them. They are mint. But im gonna post them for sale because as i was driving away with my new seats i got a call on another set of seats that i want more
