Yeah..i was watching this HK film "Election 2" and saw a white Fit or Jazz in asia look pretty nice with sun roof or moon roof...to bad 2007 model in US doesn't come with it. Hopefully next years model..

 

There are dealer installed sunroofs that are very nice in US.

I dont want the extra cost of a sunroof personally.

dealer installed sunroof will never be like oem. the headliner and roof skin will have to be cut and u wont be able to run drain pipes like the oem sunroof. Chances of it leaking after a year is pretty dam good.

 

The roof of the car is not a highly stressed part.

Which is why it is as thin as it is in both cars with/without sunroofs.

It will obviously make the ROOF weaker, but it's not like you're going to experience extra chassis flex or something like that.

The penalty is about 45-50lbs of weight at the highest point of the car.....bad for center of gravity....but those who want moonroof/sunroof options likely don't care...and those who don't want it can understand...

 

A moonroof would've been nice. My last two Hondas had moonroofs. Gonna have to roll the mirrors down for the Fit.

 

Has anyone seen any pics of a Fit with a sunroof installed? If so, any link?

to my understanding, non of the Fit all across the world comes wth standard sunroof. those seen wth sunroof are normally dealers option or aftermarkets. same thing here in Australia, quite a number of fits having sunroofs, most to all of them are done by dealers after the fits arrived on shore.

Nope... go to Honda's UK site (http://www.honda.co.uk) and build a Jazz Sport. The only "factory fitted option" is a sunroof.

Looks great; that was the only real thing that would hold me up from getting one, if I were looking right now. It's too bad that they don't offer cruise as a stand-alone on the std model; that would be the only thing to make me think twice about not going with the sport (since I'd get new rims/stereo anyway when I bought the car).

 

I had a sunroof/moonroof installed on my 03 Element like the one on the FitFreak website and I have loved it ever since day one. The one that I purchased came with a lifetime warranty for the original owner of the car (me) and has never leaked. It is a webasto so run a search I know they are all over the place with installers.

 

i swear webasto makes sunroofs for benz, i could be wrong, i'll double check on that tomorrow
