I'm in the same boat in CO for slush and rain. I keep eyeing the Injen CAI, but I have to reign myself in and look at SRIs. the K&N set looks amazingly well built, but Injen also looks good. The difference in $ doesn't really make a difference to me. I'm just looking for perfomance and ease of maintenance.
Also, I'm still waiting to see what Comptech comes out with. If they come out with their Icebox soon enough, I may just go that route since their kits are designed to "not ingest water". And, hell, I plan on buying their headers and maybe their exhaust (Greddy Evo II is looking nice).

Just a quick reply to monkey's post i have the Injen sri and the only problem i had was the elbow fitting from the throttle body to the intake pipe. The degree is off other than that im very happy with my purchase.

So your going with the K&N john ? I think its nice because of the heat sheild and K&N makes the best filters. I am still liking the injen for some reason i just want the meanest sounding sri but no 1 can tell me which 1 is !
plus I just cant bring myself to put a CAI on a brand new car and risk hydrolock....Ive had them on many older hondas but it aint happening to her!
