indeed. i just want something where i can use whatever cams i want while reducing friction and rocker/cam wear, and maybe kill some weight. why hasnt anyone come out with something like this yet?

seems all the rollers out there require the use of their specific cams and kill vtec. i just want to reduce friction and wear without losing low end power/idle etc

there shoud be a coating(teflon or others) that you can coat your cams and rockers with.
(thats a good idea )
i myself have some spare heads to try this on

rollers would still be better for wear and friction. and if they can make them lighter in the process thats something that coating cant do.

That would be great if they would do that. I have been thinking about getting the crane setup with the roller followers but i really dont want to kill vtec.

the 3 rocker setup is the same but i doubt the geometry or rocker ratio is the same. rocker pin diameter is probably different too.

im sure youd run into LMA and general space issues as well.

anyone ever tried it?
