Default E Brake Cables

i'm converting the rear on my civic ex 4dr to discs and i wanted to know if the ebrake cables for the drums work with the discs.

most people use the lines connected to the assemblies they purchase...

They will not work you will need si cables. I'm using integra cables on my ek hatch but they're slightly shorter than the original cables, that might be a problem on a 4dr but I not exactly sure I haven't had much experience with 4drs.

use the ebrake cables off whatever car you have, but he disc version

thanks i will just buy some si cables, or ex 4dr with discs. It cause the dics assembly i have the cables were cut :S so i will just buy some new cables. thanks for the info

Si cables will work fine. I have done the conversion on a 4-door and a hatch using Si e-brake cables with no problems.

fiy the cables are the same part number for the integra with rear disc and the civic si. some one did a post with the info a few months back check under the search archives

just go on google and write in honda parts, look for a autoparts sales company and search you can get left and right brand new for less than 100$. that's what im going to do but i'm also restoring my civic so

I have 98 dx 4 dr, and I’m using a 95 del-sol rear disc trailing arms with the e-brake cables. Just wondering if the cables will work on the 4dr?
