go with true coilovers for the best result, look for something that boast pregressive spring rates so that when you drive around town, your head wont bounce off your shoulders, but they are also good for auto-xing and things like that since the more you use them the better they are, but since you are going for the dumped look, i would suggest getting getting shocks and couilovers together that are made for a ride that is an inch of the ground, maybe even air ride, its all up to you mang

Coilovers are the way to go if you want low, The bouncy ride is most likly because you didn't have shocks that match your spring rates. The shock is not stiff enough to control the compression and expansion of your springs and therefore the ride is bouncy.
So i say koni's with GC's and you should be able to scrape the pavment if you really want to.

Coilovers with independent height adjustability are you best best. I used NEX coilovers on my EK coupe. THe ride was stiff but defiantly not bouncy. The bad thing about them was that they diddn't have any dampining adjustability.

Yeah, no wonder. Bump stops tend to do that . . .

Bet you had OEM dampers controlling them, too. I award you 10 idiot points.

as you can see in sig i've got sports with the race springs, the drop is just right for me and the ride is just fine as well unless your a senior citizen. But it doesn't handle like its on rails it handles well. It could still use some stiffer spring rates.

Because they handle, ride, and look like ****. I build my car to win autocrosses, not to win the affection of the H-T Appearance/Cosmetic forum *******.

Grow up or go home.

See the thing is i dont think this guy gives a **** about auto x and performace etc . . he just wants a better riding suspension when he is dumped. My omnipower rides like a champ i have it set as low as it will go (about 4inch). I think you guys are *******. so keep up the arguement its entertaining too me.

People who ride dumped don't care about performance, deal with it and stop crying like little babies.

if you want to ride low, you need to worry about only 1 thing.

shock travel.

a direct solution would be to use GC extended top hats. or make your own.

secondly, you want stiff springs to help limit shock travel. for this i recommend cutting your springs. yes, i recommend cutting springs, i am not joking. you will get lower, and stiffer.

or just get the ebay coilover kit for $30. those springs are so damn stiff theyre only good for limiting travel.

with stiff springs and extended top hats, nothing but physical limitations in the top of the fender height will be of issue. at that point, you can just cut your engine bay quite frankly.

this is real advice. i am not joking.
