I see alot of the crews like EK Squad and EM1 and I was wondering why doesn't someone start a AP Squad for S2000's.

and even if theirs an AP crew to be formed, im number 1, 2 or 3

 

Because S2000 owners typically aren't some late-blooming pubescent "twent-teens" that need to be categorized by the car he/she drives.

Unfortunately, S2000 ownership base is getting to be that way....so plug away, start your AP1 sqawwwd, or your Ap2 k-rew. I'll always remain true to the "Luder94-camp: me, myself, and I".

And yes, I'm an elitest S2000 owner (7 years and counting):

You can still do what you wanna do. Joining/being a part of a crew or squad doesn't take anything away from who you are as a person. It just gives you a thread to chill in and talk with other s2000 owners.

Isn't that what S2Ki.com is for (a site for thousands upon thousands of former and current S2000 owners).

And by the way, I disagree. I see plenty of these kids scooting around town with BB squad, DC squad, and WTF Krew stickers on their cars. They aren't the most standup owners/drivers....and unfortunately, I get stereotyped into that ownership group (one of the main reasons I want to get rid of my DC, in fact).

I totally understand where you are comming from. We tried making a website seperate from Honda-Tech for all EM1 owners. To tell the truth the site kinda bombed out so we are pretty much stuck with the thread on HT.

Glad to hear that S2Ki.com is popular.

For being 21 and owning an s2000, I hear alot of crap from people. Thats mainly my reason for going to s2ki.com meets and no more local meets. Everyone has something to say about everything, and its not fair.

actually, that's not really a squad, people go in there and post. they dont have any stupid requirements to get in like the EH, EK, etc squads. it's not technically a squad by HT standards. if you go to the thread and look around, you will see this. there's no squad member listing, there's no sig requirement rules, no stickers, etc.

so with that being said, how does me posting a pic in that thread mean i'm in that squad? i've posted in other squad threads and i'm sure others have, doesn't mean they are in that squad.

So... just becuase there is SOME stupid kids in SOME of the various squads you all are stereotyping all squads... There are plenty of people in any squad that love their particular car or model and want to talk to other people that feel the same way. Yes there are those jerks like you described but who are you to tell us what were doing is gay? Thats like us saying all S2k owners are gay, which is just plain wrong.
