I was sitting here wondering if turning a D16 or B16 into a Biodiesel engine is possible of course anything is possible with enough money. Turns out you can make biodiesel for about 70 cent per gallon. I just want to know if it's possible to turn a pump gas engine into a diesel running engine then biodiesel after that? if that makes since, I'm just trying to attack from possible known methods. Don't know much about diesel maybe someone here has though, tried, or researched it already.

Running my CRX or Civic on biodiesel might be worth while?

 

You would need sleeves to begin with and then a very expensive injector pump and the know how to tune it. Would cost more than youd ever save. Also to make biodiesel that cheap you need free oil. Most places already sell it to people. SOme may give it to you but id make sure you have a steady supply if you decide to invest the money in the materials to make it or a kit.

 

cheaper to buy an old Mercedes 300d or 190d if you can find them in good condition as daily driver than convert yours. Even the old VW works great for WVO setups
