Which Cat. to use on edelbrock 2.5 mod for 97 gsr?
Just like title says, i wanna do the 2.5" mod on my edelbrock header. But im not sure which cat to use since i went obdI. I live in California and when its time to smog, im gonna need a california obdII compliant cat. to pass smog. Should i get an obdII cat and just plug up the rear o2 boss until smog check? If so, which brand should i get. I seen magnaflow has a 2.25 inch, but i couldn't find a 2.5" unviversal cat. that's california obdII compliant.

Carsound/Magnaflow is the only company that I know of that has a CARB OBDII cat. I sell them but honestly have only sold about 5. Reason? They are very expensive. Most people who need to go through a smog test will get my standard 400 cell cat and won't have any problems.
