Floating ground on the high beams?

Long story short I temporarly hardwired in a set of H4 bulbs in my JDM houseings... So I had both the low beams working right. I went back the other day to start wireing up the highs, figured I could just hook up the one positive wire for the high beams onto the high beam terminal of the H4 bulb and leave the ground floating. Low and behold I get high beams all the time. Going to go back and sort it out next weekend... But I'm guessing your problem is similar... Look for a loose wire on your high beams.
