race pipe or street pipe? what the diff?
liek the title states, what the difference between a race pipe and a street pipe when it comes to a slip on? with a race pipe will i have to re-jet? im a noob when it comes to this bike stuff
Most likely remapping/ jetting, cost, sound. Don't automatically assume you are getting the best performance when you see the word 'RACE'. Some 'race' lines are geared strictly towards just that and can make your bike run like a dog on the streets. It can also be misleading. Arrow for example offers the street, race, and Competition lines. The race line is just a fancier version of the street, while the 'Competition' is the line that you see on actual Suerbikes, etc. You gonna pay through the nose though.

advertising... at lest it is when the term slip is used. On a FULL system, a race pipe is SCULPTED to yield a deisred result for a given set of engine parameters as opposed to a street pipe which is merely assembled
cool cool, yeah i wasnt sure if there was a huge differnce, im just going to buy the "street" to be on the safe, but yeah im not trying to race it, its quick enough for me, lol i want it to make noise, lol thanks
