Default ITR Cams and Pistons

If I put ITR cams and pistons in my B18C1, wouldn't it practically be an ITR motor in sleeper form? Please let me know if im missing any components. thx.

The ITR Was A Completely Different Car The Cylinder Head Was Different From ITR To GSR, As Well As Suspension, Exhaust, Interior, Exterior It Would Take A LOT Of Money To Turn A Gs-R Into A Type R, However Can You Make Your Gs-R As Fast If Not Faster Than A ITR? YES!!!

the itr has a ported b16 head along with better valves, springs, single runner intake manifold, and a shorter geared tranny.. if u want your GSR to perform like an ITR or better, get those cams and pistons and use a skunk2 manifold with a shorter geared tranny (b16, itr) you can always replace the GSR head with the b16 and call it a "poor mans ITR"

Search google for "hondahookup manuals". Download the 1997 ITR supplement. All of the differences are highlighted.

JDMxDB8: Did you get your car dyno'd afterwards with the ITR cams? Just wondering what gains to expect.
