whats best way to raise rev-limiter on a GSR

Default whats best way to raise rev-limiter on a GSR

hi i just installed ITR cams yesterday and i want to raise the redline, from what i heard theres nothing you can do with the OBDI computer, is this true? I've heard its good to go for the a Chipped P28, but i drove my friends and it felt really weak in the low mid range. what do you guys do? thanks

Chip your ecu, but make sure your head is built if you wanna go a lot higher than stock redline.

Yes you can chip an obd1 computer, there are tons of chips out there to get. If you want to rev higher, make sure your motor can handle it.

well i still have to put in the ITR valve springs, but how high can i rev with stock compression?

Shop, look around in a magazine, should be plenty of sources.

you can chip it...make sure to install valvesprings retainers...w/ ITR ones you should be able to rev up to 8400 safely. OBD2 is the one u cant chip. obd1, u can get plenty of programs for.
