Default Are 96-00 civic distributors all swapable???

I'm talking about the sohc motor dizzy's. Looking into buying someones dizzy that came out of their 98 civic and put it into my 99 civic. They look the same but when I checked with my local Honda dealership, the part #'s were different.

So will it work??

Thanks

Frames are the same but the internals are not.

Is this fact or opinion?

If it's fact then it is NOT swapable, right.

Thanks for the input.

Did that last year. Took the plug from my 99 and repinned the 98 dizzy. You will have 1 extra wire that isn't needed. The diagram you need is on here somewhere

by internals i meant the sensors and plugs. Ignition Coils and Ignitors are interchangable throughout 92-00 civics and integras.

Between obd's is NOT direct bolt on.
