pretty sure this was the same way with my brothers crx and mine. he had a 91 si and my 88 dx and my door opener would open his hatch like it was the same key.

who cares?

its not like stealing an EF is that hard anyway. if any of you has had your car stolen and got it back, it was pretty obvious how the fucktard did it. this is just another worthless thread. i'm sure its been covered eleventy-billion times too.

The key for my old 90 CRX Si worked in my friend's 97 Prelude SH, but not the other way around. Good thing too... we found out by accident when he locked his keys in the 'lude in the pouring rain, and we were at court wearing suits, 2 hours from home. I tried it as a joke and the door opened right up!

I forgot to mention, most state DMVs are making keys that will work on an EF door, they are calling them "license plates".

I can use my brothers EK and EG keys and open and start any EF's and EG's, takes me 1min max on door and another min for ignition...

even my gf's EF key opens my CRX in like 2 secs
