Hey all im tryin to choose between an 05 typeS or an 03typeS. The 03 is 16,200 and 05 is 19,000. My biggest dilemma is trying to choose between the K20z or K20a2. nomatter what the first thing im going to do is get a Hondada ecu reflash so the 8000rpm wont matter too much if i get the 03. Is there a huge difference in the make-up of the 03 engine and the 05 engine?? What do you guys think i should go for. Money is not the biggest issue but would like to make the best decision. Both cars are near my area owned by private sellers. Both seem to be clean inside out. Thanks for all opinions!

by the way 03 has 25k miles and 05 has 12 k miles and both cars are white!!

EDIT: so whats the biggest difference from k20z to the k20a2??

i have a 03 but i would recomend the 05

 

k20z 05' FTMFW

 

05 k20z1 plus better gear ratios 05 ftw 3q more it def worth it thats if you have the money for it

 

05 and u will stay alive

seems like the 05 is the choice of most of yall!

 

I like the looks of the 02-04s more.
