To jack or not to jack?
I just ordered a Tanabe rear upper strut tower bar off of hopupracing.com
I just wanted to know if I should jack up the car when installing it? I have heard many different oppinions on doing this even though its probably not that complicated

Tanabe itself recommends that you offload your suspension when installing the upper tie bars. Install the bar with the car unjacked. When you're ready to apply the proper torque settings to the bar, raise it.
i had almost the same questions ill be installing upper front, upper back and lower back strut bars and ppl say different stuff about jacking up car the car. so if anyone can tell me what to do that will be helpful. and like someone sayed at the top install it and when you going to tighten the bolts jack up the car is it right?
i guess it would not be the same principal of installing a rear sway bar? Jacking the car up on LCAs then install, then torque?

A swaybar has free-moving joints....it doesn't matter how you install a swaybar it will settle in however it wants on its own.
