Hey just wondering who has a carbon fibre front lip ... I am thinking of doing a Spoon CF lip ... wondering if its bad for a daily driver i.e if i hit something it cracks etc...

just wanna hear some feedback

 

i guess it depends on how careful you are.
i had a vis cf lip and i drove from MN to CA and back w/ no cracks. i just taped it up.

 

drive careful and you have nothing to worry about

 

Depending on the roads, where you live, a cf lip could be bad for daily driving i.e. potholes, sewer covers, etc. Also if you live in a wooded area you could end up hitting something in the road like a squirrel, or possum. If you live someplace where the land is flat and somewhat populated go for it.

 

I have the Spoon carbon lip for the Integra.

I just used two screws on the end, and zipties in the middle so that there is some play.

Yes they crack. I scraped it numerous times, and the underside has some hairline cracks. You def. have to be more careful with it rather than ABS or Urethane.

Also, the Spoon one hangs very low!
