none of the cf lips are durable even spoons if you drop your car it's going to crack one of these days spoon have a different wave pattern compare to vis and the others but you'll save half the price buying the others i have a VIS and seen spoon in real life. Let's put it this way if the same situation*hit a bump* was to happen to both lips the same results would occur. i would go with the lower end brand. SPoon is good but it's over price i learn it the hard way.

^^ that is so very true... but then again, if ur one of those that buys everything Spoon just to say u have spoon, go ahead... I would save the money and spend it on the engine build up....

Re: *Carbon Front lip* (blazinb16)
I have a knock off on my car right now, and it's held up very well over the past year, very sturdy and tough. I ride on 15's w/50 series tires, but my car is not slammed. I've hit it pretty hard a few times, but it's still in one piece. I picked up a Spoon cf lip last night from a friend, and I was comparing them. The Spoon lip is extremely light, it doesn't weigh hardly anything, and the weave is tighter/closer, but it seems much thinner overall. If you're going to buy one, I suggest a knock off like VIS, they're cheaper, and will hold up better on the street.

Benen Industries
But they arnt being made right now
I would suggest VIS! My friend has had a VIS lip for a couple months now with no problems. He has scraped out of drive ways, hit parking stumps all the basic stuff. The VIS lip seems very thick and durable!
His daily driver!

Re: *Carbon Front lip* (2kTypeRHatch)
I myself have a Spoon lip and some off my friends have the VIS lipper. The Spoon lip is alot stronger, no doubt about it. Ive had mine on for about 8 months and ive taken out a pretty large cat at 45 MPH, couple rabbits, dogs, squirels, ive also hit some curbs pretty hard also. Its still in one piece with minor crack just in the gell coat. Put it this way. I hit a curb and the bumper on the side by the fender well where it bolts in broke and the lip didnt. Spoon if you have the cash. VIS looks nice just not as strong due to the larger weave. Oh and they make good snow plows also.

Re: *Carbon Front lip* (SpooN Man)
Aren't the Spoon knock-offs mostly fiberglass, with a CF top layer?
And are Spoon's FULL CF? What type?...3k or 6k?
I'd go for the cheaper ones, because it's not *if* I scrape...but *WHEN* I scrape. I probably won't flinch at a $130-150 lip, but $500+?! I'll be like...

It's mostly CF with a fiberglass mounting tab. ya I still flinch everytime I hit a bump or dip. You just have to be really careful.
P.s. the knock off's are like 250 +
EDIT: if you look really closly you can see the cracking on the bottom of the lip towards the right had side of the pic. It's a little higher up now because I hit a dip. That is the worse noise ever
